In part 1 of the ‘Margaret Anderson Expose,’ Margaret chats to her nephew Damian at Anderson HQ in Forest Hill, in Melbourne’s east. In just under an hour, we learn why she had better shoes than her classmates; why Sr Brendan should have looked for a career outside the classroom & the family shame she caused when she almost failed needlework.

Sensational idea and appreciate the effort of taking something like this on. Amazing recollection that mum has on her early years.
Really 9 hours with Paul?
Thanks Mark. I’ve just finished editing Paul’s last interview down to 1 hour. I’ll release the directors cut down the track.
Loved listening to Margie reminisce. Thanks for sharing it with us Damian. Can’t wait for Part 2 to find out if Student Teacher Margaret Purcell passes Needlework. xxx
I checked the hem on the tablecloth after she divulged that. It’s possible she never passed needlework. Look at the photo on the home page: Mark’s shorts are two sizes too big & Pete’s wearing a shop bought batman costume to cover whatever ill-fitting garment he was made to wear.
